Need a Helping Hand this Thanksgiving? Jesus Provisions Ministries in partnership with Tracy Lawrence Mission Possible will be giving away 100 Thanksgiving meals November 18th. If you or someone you know could use a Holiday Helping Hand, our registration to reserve your Thanksgiving meal will begin October 16th – November 13th. You can register at https://www.jesusprovisions.org to reserve your spot. Someone will contact you with pickup instructions prior to November 18th.

Thanksgiving boxes come with 1 frozen turkey, boxed mashed potatoes, mac n cheese, corn or green beans, cranberry sauce, pumpkin pie, whip topping and rolls and ranges at a $75 value depending on size of family. Jesus Provisions Ministries is a church that has “Left the Building” in so many ways. We provide a variety of services that include: Food Pantry Services; Clothing Closet; Christian Counseling; Service Hour Outreach; Community Outreach Service Projects; Hospital Visits; Funeral Home Visits; Worship Services; Dinner, Bible Study and Fellowship Mondays at 6 PM.

The monthly distribution is held 8:30-11:30 AM on the last Thursday of each month BEFORE the last Saturday and the LAST Saturday of each month.

(*Note: The dates for Nov & Dec are held a week early in order to accommodate the Thanksgiving & Christmas holidays.)

NOTE: Only 1 distribution is allowed each month. The times for all the distribution dates are from 8:30 to 11:30 AM. (Note: The entrance gates close promptly at 11:30.)

Also note: A vehicle is required due to the large portions of food, beverages, paper goods and personal hygiene products which are distributed . Please have adequate space available for the large quantity which is given.

Food recipients must enter using the service road between I-40 E and Knight's Inn.

VOLUNTEERS: please use enter using the new Alligood Way road (come off S. Murfeesboro Rd. right in between the Pilot Truck Stop & The White Room Bridal Store) . It will bring you to the back of Joseph's Storehouse.

Joseph’s Storehouse offers food, beverages, paper goods, diapers and personal hygiene products to anyone at least once without ID or having to complete an application.

However, if they desire to receive assistance on an on-going basis, they must be a resident of TN with a valid ID and complete an application in person and/or in the office on Mon-Thurs from 9-11:15 AM.

Applications may also be completed at any time online by clicking this link. If their application is approved, they may return once a month from Jan thru Oct on the last Thursday of the month BEFORE the last Saturday - OR - on the last Saturday of the month.

Leadership Wilson, founded in 1993, is a non-profit community leadership organization serving the community and educating leaders in Wilson County. Each year approximately 30 participants from the business, education, civic, religious, and government communities of Wilson County are provided a comprehensive leadership training opportunity through experiential learning, daylong seminars, group discussions, field trips and retreats which creates a forum to exchange ideas and discuss areas of interest. Each class presents the opportunity to understand and analyze a particularly important segment of the county, including government, health care and social services, agriculture, business and industry, public safety, education and quality of life.

Youth Leadership Wilson provides training and growth opportunities to a cross-section of high school juniors in Wilson County through a program that values diversity and recognizes differing leadership styles. Thirty students are selected each year to participate in a program that teaches them about their communities, who’s "in charge", as well as valuable leadership skills. Students do not pay tuition to participate in Youth Leadership Wilson; the program is funded by the adult program. High school juniors must submit a completed application to their school guidance counselor to be considered for participation in Youth Leadership Wilson.

Life Recovery is a religious, charitable, educational organization focused on providing multi-faceted addiction recovery services. Our founders, Bill & Dean Jackson, experienced first-hand what it was like to live with and love people who had become enslaved by addictions. We wholeheartedly believe addiction is not the root cause of a person’s troubles. Addiction is simply one of many unhealthy solutions people use to anesthetize themselves from their real troubles. Life Recovery keeps Christ at the center of the 12 Steps and applies these principles in all our affairs. Today, Life Recovery has daily meetings, and all are welcome to attend these meetings. The next phase of our ministry will involve educational classes helping people in our community who have had justice involvement.
