FOOD PANTRY - The Maple Hill Church of Christ food pantry is open on Mon-Thur 8-4 & Fri 8-Noon. For more info, please contact the church office at 615-444-1544

BENEVOLENCE & HELPS MINISTRY - The Maple Hill Church of Christ understands that life is filled with difficulties and times when we need help to get through them. The Benevolence program is here to provide that assistance. We as a congregation have been blessed by God, and in return understand that God wants us to share that love with those in our community. We are here to assist with spiritual and nutritional needs through the generosity of our members. For more information regarding the ministry, contact the church office at 615-444-1544 on Mon-Thur 8-4 & Fri 8-Noon or visit https://www.maplehillchurch.org/community/benevolence.

BUDGETING: BACK TO THE BASICS - This is a 4-week class on Wednesday nights from 7 - 8 PM. A meal will be provided before the class between 6:15 - 7 PM. If childcare is needed, we would love for your child(ren) to attend our Bible classes while you attend the budgeting class. We are requesting that you advise who will be attending below so that we can have a count for the meal and volunteers and know which class your child(ren) will be attending.

PURPOSE OF THE BUDGETING & PERSONAL FINANCE COURSE - The course teaches basic budgeting skills to better utilize monthly income, build up savings, and plan for financial goals.

SCHEDULE & REGISTRATION - Our 4-week budgeting & personal finance classes are held every other month with the next classes beginning in September and then in November in 2022. For more info and registration, visit https://maplehill.breezechms.com/form/147dc9 or contact the church office at 615-444-1544 on Mon-Thur 8-4 & Fri 8-Noon.

  • OUTREACH PROGRAMS
  • SUPPORTIVE SERVICES
  • RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES
  • INDIVIDUALS AGE 60 AND OVER

A hot meal and a good friend are two of life’s greatest enjoyments. For over 40 years, Meals-On-Wheels has delivered more than 11 million meals to seniors in Middle Tennessee. In addition to home-delivered meals, we also provide congregate meals, outreach, nutrition education, supportive services and recreational activities for individuals age 60 and older.

Hot meals are planned by a registered dietician and prepared in a commercial kitchen Monday–Friday and delivered to the meal sites; volunteers deliver the meals and take great care to place food in proper storage. Each meal site must pass the Health Department’s rigorous cleanliness and safety inspections.

Anyone age 60 and older who is home bound, or meets the needs as determined by state guidelines, is eligible for Mid-Cumberland Meals-on-Wheels. Seniors age 60 and older may also apply for congregation dining through their local Dining Site.

Our volunteers provide friendship, care, and a smile with each visit. And since the need always outweighs available funding, donations of any amount are always welcome.

For donations or volunteer opportunities, email Sharon McDaniel at smcdaniel@mchra.com

  • CRISIS SUPPORT
  • PARENT LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE
  • IN-HOME SUPPORT FOR PARENTS
  • TRAINING & EDUCATION
  • PARENTAL SUPPORT

Nurturing relationships and safe environments help children build strong physical, cognitive and emotional foundations that support their healthy development. Our programs build these relationships and safe environments for children in both their families and their communities. The goal of each of our programs is to reduce traumatic experiences resulting from adult behavior and environments that can weaken a child’s foundation. This requires a two-generation approach that supports the wellbeing of parents and children. Participation in our programs is always voluntary, free and confidential. Parenting isn’t easy, but we’re here to help.  We support parents facing a multitude of challenges in their desire to raise healthy, happy children well. Our goal is to provide parents with the knowledge and the positive support system needed to build a nurturing home. We’re committed to meeting you where you are, when you need us, including by phone and during a crisis.
